How are the clothes made?

El manos means hand in Spanish, the goal is to shape the environment, towards a self-replication that goes far beyond textiles.
How are Elmanos products made? How much do our clothing manufacturers earn?

The start of production

Since 2016, we have opted for the manufacture and assembly of local, French and more specifically Parisian products, which means that we have a production line that is almost unimportant and that mainly respects our environment; the fabrics come from our textile producer based in South Korea, our textile producer uses 100% recycled or/and biodegradable fabrics so we regulate our C02 footprint.

The price of fabrics is entirely decorated with the market and its fluctuations, In 2017 we bought our fabrics on average twice as much as the market price.

Our clothes therefore cost on average three times more to produce than clothes from major brands. This is due to the fact that we use fair trade and mainly organic raw materials.

Fair trade

Since 2016, we have applied the principles of fair trade in the field. This means working directly with the producers/artisans and reducing the intermediaries.

Chemically Clear

Before each capsule, we check with our textile producer for chemicals in our garments to ensure that we have removed all hazardous chemical components from our production process.

Organic Labeling

All the fabrics used for the design of our products are organic.

Elmanos Studio Code of Ethics

This code sets out the organization's mission, values and principles, as well as our commitment to ourselves to maintain integrity and accountability in our actions and decisions.
Elmanos has made the Code of Conduct available to its employees and collaborators; producers.
We want to create an environment where everyone feels free to express their opinion.
Any request or non-compliance with the Code of Conduct can be handled through various communication channels.
